Cybernet Introduces the Next Generation Rugged Tablet for Industrial Mobile Computing

California-Based Manufacturer Engineers a Powerful, Durable Industrial Tablet with Integrated Barcode Scanner & RFID and Hot-Swappable Batteries

IRVINE, CA - May 25, 2016. Cybernet Manufacturing, Inc., a leading manufacturer of industrial-grade computers and tablets, recently announced the release of an entirely new type of industrial work solution, the Rugged X10 Industrial Tablet. This innovative and affordable product is the newest addition to the company's existing product line of over five different specialized commercial tablets.

"The new Rugged X10 industrial tablet redefines durability and ease-of-use, without sacrificing craftsmanship," said Ali Bagheri, Senior VP Global Communications at Cybernet. "Applications include, but are not limited to, construction sites, automotive manufacturing plants, oil and gas refineries as well as integration on heavy trucks for GPS monitoring."

Cybernet's entire industrial-grade product line, including the Rugged X10, has been designed for environments with high levels of humidity, shock, vibration, pressure and temperature fluctuations. Along with its compatibility with Windows 7, 8 and 10, the Rugged X10 also works with several varieties of Linux, including Ubuntu.

Weighing only 2.2 pounds, the energy efficient X10 was engineered with industrial applications in mind and built using military grade components designed to be durable and reliable. And because it's shockproof, vibration proof and IP65 sealed, it works in environments where consumer grade tablets typically fail within a few months.

"The X10 meets MIL-STD-810G standards and features an RS232 Port and USB Ports, allowing for easy integration into existing legacy hardware," Bagheri added. "It's been engineered with dual hot swap batteries for round the clock use. It's powered by a 5th generation Core i5 or i7 processor & Intel HD 5500 graphics to support demanding industrial applications."

"At the end of the day, our primary objective is to deliver cutting-edge technology that meets the ever-changing IT needs of our clients," Bagheri, added. "We're proud of the rich feature set of the X10, which will improve efficiency and increase production in challenging environments where most technologies have traditionally failed."
