One of the leading medical device manufacturers in the world, Becton Dickinson, has teamed up with Cybernet Manufacturing in the fight against the Novel Coronavirus. The BD Max System, which is powered by a Cybernet medical grade computer, is being used around the world to test for COVID-19. Since the beginning of March, the BD Max system has been used throughout Europe to provide rapid diagnostic testing for clinical laboratories trying to identify new cases of COVID-19.
Becton Dickinson is currently working with the FDA in the US to get approval for a 2-hour COVID-19 test that would also utilize the BD Max system. This is the same test being used throughout Europe and China. If approved, it would give hospitals and labs an incredible tool in the fight against the spread of the Coronvirus here in the Untied States.
